Halloween was very relaxing for Jake & I. My Mom has a chili dinner every year on Halloween night. There was a TON of yummy food. Chili, cornbread, and even carmeled apples. It's so much fun to get together and see the kids all dressed up although I think they had more fun playing with each other at Grandma's house rather than trick or treating.

After my Mom's house Jake & I went to one more Halloween party. We weren't in the mood to dress up. I know, I know we are LAME!!! We were both tired from work all week and since we don't have kids we thought we'd take advantage of just hanging out with our friends.

The OTHER LAME ONES!!!I'm sure when Jake & I decide to have kids (which won't be for about 12 years) I will get more into the Halloween spirit. I miss being a kid and trick or treating and being excited to dress up. It was fun to just hang out with the family and answer the door to the trick or treaters at my Mom's house.
Now I'm counting down the days until Thanksgiving & of course CHRISTMAS!! Have you all started your Christmas shopping?? IT'S TIME......
