Cali, Friends & Thanksgiving....

(PICTURE OVERLOAD)
Just warning everyone that I have posted a TON of pictures. I'm the picture queen so I apologize in advance for the picture overload but I had to share.
Before Thanksgiving I had the pleasure of heading to sunny San Diego to visit my grandparents. It was such a nice break from reality. The weather was beautiful, warmer than Utah is this time of year. My Grandma and I enjoyed shopping at the outlets and the mall and my Grandpa took us on a scenic tour of Coronado Beach.

My Dad and my little sister also came to San Deigo but they got there the day before I left. We hung out for the day and they stayed for Thanksgiving.

I came home from San Diego the day before Thanksgiving. Yes, the airport was INSANE. So many people and extra security checks. Anyway, Jake picked me up from the airport and we had plans to meet our closest friends at the local Riverton bar. The one and only LaZy DoG!! Yes, it's completely redneck and the only time we ever even set foot in that bar is Thanksgiving Eve, but we have a blast with our friends. Jake & I were the designated drivers for the night so I ran around taking pictures of everyone. I'm pretty sure people get sick of me saying, "Ok smile for me one more time." I should have been a photographer I guess.

The next day was Thanksgiving and Jake and I decided to eat dinner at my Mom's house and then head to my in laws to have pie. Just my luck, my camera STOPPED working after our fun night with our friends so I used my Mom's camera to take pictures of our Thanksgiving but I didn't get any pictures of the in laws Thanksgiving. No worries because Christmas is always a fun time around their house. So I will make up for it. Rod joined us for Thanksgiving dinner. Little did he know we invited him so that he could help my Mom cook. :) Just teasing! He did do a pretty good job mashing the potatoes. Ha Ha Ha

My other set of grandparents! I'm one lucky girl

So that's my holiday fun! I am so grateful for so many things. I'm glad that I have such a wonderful husband who loves me. I'm glad that I have great friends and I'm so grateful for my family and also my in laws. I'm grateful I got to spend Thanksgiving with my grandparents and that I was able to enjoy San Diego with my other set of grandparents. I'm very excited for the Christmas holiday! Jake's brother and sister in law will be in town and we cannot wait to spend some time with them. Jake's sister just had a baby in November so we are all enjoying that sweet little girl. Her name is Karlie and she's so tiny! On Thursday morning Jake and I are heading to Vegas for some fun. My brother and sister in law will be there and we are going with some of our friends. I can't wait. It should be a blast! Hope everyone had a great weekend....
