The Holiday Fun & More

Finally, my Christmas pictures have been posted and I'm sorry for the picture overload but really, what would you expect from me? Jake & I had so many fun things going on over the holidays that of course I had to share.

First things first, my family Christmas party. We had so much fun, Santa came for a visit and we all got to open presents. It's nice to spend one day out of the year with my whole entire family because we don't see each other as often as we would like!

My AMAZING grandparents-They are the reason we have our great family!

My brother & of course Rod! Just being silly

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!

We LOVE these sweet boys

Aunt Geniel brought stockings for everyone to decorate so I helped the kids

THE FREHNER FAMILY PARTY!!

On Christmas Eve, the Frehner family gets together. Jake has a HUGE family and this year was so much fun because Jake's brother Tim, his wife Anny & their two adorable kids were able to visit us.

Trevor & I-He's my bud!

The girl's playing some amazing music for us. Every year the Gehring family (Jake's sister & brother in law and their kids) put on a concert with their musical instruments. They are all so talented & we LOVE listening to them play.

Alex even sang for us!

I have to laugh when I see this picture of the boys! This was the hardest picture to take because they were all tired but so excited for Santa to come.

CHRISTMAS DAY!
Jake & I got up early on Christmas morning to open our gifts to each other! Thankfully I had a new digital camera waiting for me under the tree. I was so excited, hence all the pictures to come. My camera has been broken so Jake figured he would buy me a new one so he doesn't have to hear my cry about it anymore. Ha Ha
After we opened our presents we headed to my Dad's house. We had no idea what was in store for us until we pulled out of our driveway! A TON OF SNOW! I think it's great when it snows on Christmas day but this was the never ending, complete white out snow. The roads were awful and just our luck we loaned Jake's truck to his brother on Christmas Eve so we didn't even have our 4-wheel drive. It took us about 35 minutes to get to my Dad's house. It normally takes me about 15 minutes at the most. We finally got there and spent the morning opening presents and eating yummy cinnamon rolls. My grandparents came to visit us as they do every year on Christmas and I really do enjoy their company. They are both such great people and my Grandpa's stories are the BEST.

After we were finished at my Dad's house we headed to my Mom's house.

BACK TO DAD'S FOR CHRISTMAS DINNER!
After the morning fun, we headed home to change and get ready to go back to my Dad's for Christmas dinner. Can you see how busy we really were? Dividing your time between families gets a little difficult at times. I was definitely ready for a nap by noon.
Every year for Christmas dinner my Grandma & my Dad fix Mexican food and it is so yummy. Grandma fixes her famous tacos that are completely unhealthy but hey, who's counting calories on Christmas day?

Enjoying everyone's company

I really hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I know my Christmas was busy but I loved spending time with our families. I'm glad it's over with and I'm already looking forward to Spring.
MORE FUN!
I was able to spend some time with my Mom, Grandma, & sis at lunch after the holiday events. Every time my Grandma is in town we always go to Sweet Tomato's for lunch. We love that place. I enjoyed feeding my face and also hanging out with the girl's!

SAMI'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!
While Jake's brother and sister in law were in town we had the pleasure of celebrating their little girl's birthday. Sami turned 4 and she is such a sweet girl. I wish we could see their cute family more but they live in California. Hopefully Jake & I will be able to visit them sometime this year. The birthday party was a blast. It was at a place in Sandy called BOUNCE U! As you can tell from my pictures everyone had such a great time. I think the adults had more fun than the kids.

BABY KARLIE & ETHAN'S BLESSING!
Last weekend we were able to attend Jake's niece & nephews baby blessing. It was a very nice blessing. Jake's Dad was able to bless both grandkids and I'm sure he really enjoyed that. Baby Karlie is Jake's sisters new baby and she's a doll. Ethan is his brothers little boy as I mentioned above and he's so much fun!

Welcome 2009! I hope everyone enjoyed their New Year's. I really do hope that 2009 is a great year for everyone & you can all stick to your New Year's resolutions. ;-) I know I have a few of my own that I am hoping I can stick to. HAPPY NEW YEARS!

I seriously thought Jesse was the only Cowboys fan who was really nuts. After seeing these pictures, I realize I'm not alone. :)
