HAPPY SWEET 16 TO MY LITTLE SIS!

Over the weekend we celebrated my little sisters sweet 16. I can't believe she's old enough to drive. I'm so excited for her. She had a ton of her friends over on Friday night and my sweet husband volunteered to BBQ the hamburgers and hot dogs for the teenagers. It was fun sitting around listening to their dramatic stories. It made me feel like a kid again....

On Sunday we celebrated with the family! I think she had a great birthday and I really am so proud of her. She's a very genuine & smart person and I can't wait to see where life takes her.

Jake & I surprised her with a Rascal Flatts concert ticket. I bought her a book and put the ticket inside. She didn't even notice until my nephew pointed it out. That was her facial expression when she realized what it was. We were laughing so hard.

We also celebrated our nephew Tanner's birthday on Sunday. He is such a stud and Jake and Tanner are really two peas in a pod. Tanner has been my bud since he was a baby. He's growing up so fast and we just love him to death.

Valentines Day was very relaxing. Jake & I did absolutely NOTHING! We made a great dinner & watched movies all day. I had the day off today thanks to President's Day so my Mom & I got pedicures this morning and then headed to Park City for a day of shopping. It was FREEZING! I cannot wait for the warm weather.....as I'm writing I can hear the rain against the window. Oh yay...another lovely morning commute tomorrow. I hope everyone had a great Valentines Day & an even better weekend.
