DoNt MeSs WiTh TeXaS *

Let me just start off by saying I LOVE the state of Texas. I wasn't sure I would be so in love with it that I wished I had lived there but it turns out that's how much I love it. Crazy but I think it's just what I needed in my life right now. A change of scenery. Meeting new friends & just people in general. Experiencing new things...I never wanted it to end.

My BFF & myself eating the best Mexican food in Texas. Joe T's is very well known & the food was amazing. Not to mention I was hanging around with the greatest people ever.

Our long time friend Chet. Brooke has known this boy forever & I met Chet when Brooke moved to St. George. So maybe....9 years?? Crazy long time but we love this boy. He rocks and what better way to celebrate his 26th birthday than with 2 of his favorite girls?

Chet, myself, Bonner, Brooke & Rob a.k.a. {Dan} These crazy people took me to downtown Fortworth & we went to a few bars. We had to celebrate Chet's birthday in style since his family & friends are back home in Mesquite & Utah. I think he had fun. We laughed, played pool, danced the night away & I walked to the car with blisters on my feet & my high heels in hand. Gross I know but I can't help myself on the dance floor.

All of these years I've known Brooke I've only met her Mom twice. This was the second time. Crazy I know but she's always lived in other states. This trip I got to hang out with her Texas fam & I love them. All of them. Her Mom is amazing, her step Dad is a great guy & her two younger sisters I adore. Especially this sweetheart in the pic above. Savanna is 6 & can talk your ear off. She told me I'm her 2nd best friend. She is the sweetest little girl and I already miss her sitting on my lap telling me story after story after story...

These two love birds will be getting married sometime in the near future. They know how to show me a good time and I couldn't be more grateful for these friends.

Bonner & Brooke took me to Billy Bobs. Probably the greatest country bar ever! We watched Jake Owen sing {he's so handsome & definitely my new fave}. We danced the night away again & some nice gay guy even taught me how to 2 step. I loved it. It was so much fun.

Like I said, this is just what I needed. Brooke & Bonner took me to an amazing church on Sunday. It put some things into perspective for me about life. I feel so blessed to be able to go on vacation whenever I want or do the things I enjoy doing. I feel blessed to be able to spend my time with lifelong friends & even friends from my past that I don't see very often. Maybe someday I can be a Texas girl but for now I'm in Utah & I have an amazing life here. Who knows what the future holds....Thanks for a great trip guys. Love my Texas family!
