Friends!

Here's a love story....

These two below met, hung out, quit hanging out and then started hanging out again and now they are getting HITCHED!

If you know my friend Rod, he's always been...let's just say "the ladies man." Or so he thought. He wasn't that boy you would bring home to Mama but I love him just the same even though at times I wanted to punch him in the eye for being an idiot and finding the most ridiculous women ever....

Then one day he brought Jacque around. I don't know where he found her...well actually I do but that doesn't matter because she is by far the BEST girl he's dated ever. Hands down, this girl rocks! She fits into our circle of friends so perfect. From day one she has always been friendly and sweet. We love her. Seriously, I don't know how Rod lucked out but THANK GOD he did. I am so happy he found Jacque and I'm even more happy that he loves her enough to want to settle down and have babies. :)

So congrats you two love birds. I love you both so much and Jacque, we really are sooo glad that you found our friend Rod. You've made him a better person and he is lucky to have you.

The end of that love story.

So on to my post....a couple of weekends ago we went out for Rod's birthday. We went to dinner downtown and then to a piano bar called Keys On Main. Super fun, super laid back and lots of laughs. What could be better?

 At Keys you can pay the piano players $20 to bring someone on stage and allow them to be embarrassed. It was Rod's birthday so of course we took that chance and paid the piano players {I'm sure there's a more appropriate name for them but I don't know it} $20. Rod was ok with the idea and then took it upon himself to counter offer & pay them even more money to bring his beautiful fiance on stage. Pretty romantic huh? I didn't tell him because he was trying to be cruel but the way everyone else seen it, it was cute!

 And then they danced to the song that by the way....turned dirty. Ha Ha You could see how much these two love each other. I laughed so hard. They put on a good show for us. It was a great time!



And then our night ended with some group pics and a few homeless people asking for money and other "favors." Literally.....Oh the things you see downtown. Pure entertainment.
