Maui 2011

{Hawaii was amazing}
I felt so great while I was there. I didn't have to think about life for a whole 11 days and it was pure bliss. I woke up to the sound of the ocean every day. I drank my coffee and watched the waves roll in and the palm trees glisten in the sun. I seen sights I've never seen before, some were more beautiful than others.
{the women in Hawaii don't believe in covering up when they nurse in the middle of a store. they continue to shop and go about their business in a COSTCO and let it ALL hang out}
Did I mention we stumbled upon a nude beach? That was a sight I'll never forget. We seen people hiking, we followed, we turned the corner and BAM. Ohhh my! We left in a quick hurry after we watched the train wreck for a slight second....I never knew old people liked to be naked, in public, on a beach. WOW!
We drew names in the sand, we laughed, we sat in silence on the beach, we talked, we cooked dinner, we met new people and we had the best vacation ever.
The two best of friends in the whole wide world.

 We ate at Cheeseburger in Paradise while we watched the boats right on the water.
 There was even a rainbow one day. Loved it!

 The most amazing ice cream invented. Why do they not sell this in stores in Utah? If I could have smuggled this in my suitcase...Ohhh I would be in heaven every day...until it was gone of course.
 My view when I woke up.
 Our body boards. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this. We were pro's and we had the greatest time together. So many laughs. We even had competitions with others around us. The others didn't know it but I'm pretty sure we won every time.

My lovely Hawaii tan that has now already faded. What I wouldn't give to be this color every day all year long. I love the sunshine that's for sure.

I had such an amazing time with my BFF. I missed my hubby so much though. 11 days is a long time to be away from one another. I probably won't do it again but it was worth the experience that's for sure. Hopefully someday I can take Jake to Hawaii and show him around. He would love it!
