CAMPING IN THE COLD!

It's CAMPING SEASON & Jake couldn't be more excited because we bought our cute little trailer. Jake LOVES the outdoors and he enjoys being in the mountains so much so we decided to go camping over Memorial weekend so we could try out the new trailer. It didn't turn out to be the BEST camping trip we've ever had but we are looking forward to more fun in the mountains. The weather was horrible. It was rainy and FREEZING all weekend. I had to break out my long pants & hoodies which I hate doing in the spring & summer. Our dogs were the biggest pains. They both ran away every time they heard a gun shot or a 4-wheeler. They woke us up at 3 a.m. and wouldn't let us go back to bed. They really are just like our children and I was very easily annoyed all weekend. Other than that, I enjoyed riding the 4-wheeler with Jake & cooking SMORES over the fire. There is nothing better than cooking yummy food while you camp. Needless to say we enjoyed the company of our great friends & we are really looking forward to camping a lot more all summer long.
