My nephews & niece. I claim the two little ones as my family. :) They are my "brothers" kids & they are adorable. Braxton is teaching Kayson how to catch the candy. We told Kayson to stand behind the white line to catch the candy so he walked up and stood with his arms straight out. We were laughing so hard.

The actual 4th of July is ALWAYS a busy day for Jake & I. Jake's Mom has a fun BBQ & the guys have their tank wars. This year was extra special because Jake's brother & his family were in town to celebrate. We love when Tim & Anny bring the kids & come hang out with us. Jake & his brothers & sister have a blast playing poker together. I can never grasp the concept so I just watch & play with the kids.
My hubby with his tanks. He & I drove to Wyoming to find some cool tanks so that we could win everyone. Jake had so many. He looks forward to this every year.

The aftermath.......

Julie, Baby Karlie, Alyx, Corissa, Brian & Baby Ethan

Trev & I-He's the sweetest little boy. I love his kisses & hugs

That was our 4th of July. I can't wait until next year. :)
Last weekend Jake & I headed to Yuba to do a little camping with my family. Jake was super excited to take our trailer out although our air conditioning isn't working. Thanks Rod for selling us a broken trailer. :) Anyway, regardless of the heat in our trailer it was a fun weekend. I love spending my summer days on the lake with the wave runners. Our trip was even better because Mel & Brinn showed up. It's been a while since Brinn & I have hung out & I've missed her. Plus her little girl Brooklynn is fun to play with. She's getting so smart & is talking a ton. I love having conversations with her. It makes me smile.

The weather cooperated with us until Saturday. Sun was shining, water was warm & then comes a HUGE black cloud full of CRAZY, CRAZY wind & huge raindrops that hurt when they hit your cheek. I love the rain but the wind was a little scary. Everyone had their awnings out on their trailers. The picture above is my brother & his friend trying to hold my brothers awning down through the wind storm. I had to get a picture.
