HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! YOU ARE THE BEST MOM ANYONE COULD ASK FOR. LOVE YOU
The next week my FAVORITE....Kenny Chesney was in town. This show was a MUST SEE. I love, love, love Kenny's concerts. There is nothing better than enjoying his amazing songs with the people you love & I had the privilege of spending the night with a few of my FAVORITE people. We got to the stadium and it was SCORCHING HOT. Everyone had sweat dripping from their heads and backs. We had fun anyway. Our seats weren't that great for the opening acts but thanks to Chelsey's little bro he scored us floor seats 24th row. Lucky us huh? And we didn't even have to pay the $75-$150 for the floor seats. They were FREE!! WOO HOO It was a great summer night.

Chels & my hubby are just alike in the aspect that they are mellow, laid back, shy etc..so we call them the SUPERSTARS. Chelseys boyfriend Cary & myself are loud, outgoing, social butterflies and so we are ROCKSTARS.

It was such a fun concert and I'm so glad Cary and Chelsey decided to come with us. I can't even describe how much I love being outdoors listening to great music and dancing the night away. Such a blast. Also, Monday on my way to work I was having a crappy morning & decided to try & win Toby Keith concert tickets for his show in August. Much to my surprise I was the RIGHT CALLER & WON!!!! I was so excited & it really did make my Monday & my week so much better. I was planning on buying tickets to that show anyway but now they are free. Can't wait!!!!
Jake & I are keeping busy. We were trying to refinance our house to get into a more conventional loan. NICE TRY!!! This economy is so sad. I hate that the government will bail out those who are just walking away from their homes but nobody can help the people who actually pay their payments on time and in full every month. I realize people go through hard times but it's got to the point that people are just walking away to walk away because they know the government will bail them out. I love our home, I just don't love the location but apparently we have to be in a financial bind or behind on payments to get any help at all. Plus our house isn't appraising for what we owe so nobody will even try to help us out. I'm just crossing my fingers that the economy picks back up and we can put our house up for sale and move. Enough of my negativity....other than that we are both just working. Thank goodness Jake is keeping busy. The construction around here is really slowing down but Jake's boss is so great at keeping him busy everyday. We are VERY lucky! Hunting season is around the corner. It starts in two weeks. Jake couldn't be more excited. I'm excited to get some camping in before summer ends. I'm also excited to spend a few weekends home alone working on my craft room. Wow summer is just flying right by......
