BIRTHDAY PARTIES & FAMILY :)

Just wanted to post some random pics that I have taken over the last couple of weeks. Jake & I have been so busy. I wish time would slow down for just a minute. It has rained almost everyday for the last month & to be quite honest I'M SICK OF IT. Summertime is the best season & I feel like I've already missed half of it. I have some fun outdoor concerts coming up & I'm just praying for WARM SUNSHINE!!! Anyway, I hope everyone else is enjoying the summer weather or the rain....whichever you prefer. :)
This picture of Jake & our dog cracks me up. Honey is the FATTEST dog ever but she sure is the sweetest dog. She ran in the other night & jumped up on Jake's lap. I hate when my animals are on the couch or on the bed. They know they are NOT allowed but I had to get this picture so I let her sit with Jake for a minute. Funny huh? Guess she just needed some cuddle time.

One of my VERY BEST FRIENDS Marissa was in town last weekend. Marissa has been my friend for about 6 years now. She really is such a great friend. She moved to Maryland & over the last couple of years we haven't kept in touch as often as we would like. I don't think it's anyones fault. Our lives are just different now. I still miss her like crazy & will always consider her my best friend. She was there for me through so, so, soooo many things. Things other people just wouldn't understand and I know if I needed her today she would still be there for me. I will never forget our bar nights. Oh we had soooo much fun!!! Anyway our group of friends got together last weekend to eat dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Marissa's birthday was this month so our waitress made her sit on the saddle. Love you Marissa!!! Miss ya!

We also celebrated Jake, Cary, Buc & Kellies birthdays last weekend. Kellie was kind enough to have a BBQ at her house. It was a relaxing night with some YUMMY food & GREAT friends. We just talked & then played some games. I really hope the rain goes away so that we can enjoy some more BBQ's & camping trips with our friends.

Last but NOT least....I had to post this picture I took the other night of our nephews & our niece. It just makes me smile. :) They are the cutest kids & they were having so much fun playing with the ants outside at Oma & Opa's house. They all wanted a piece of cake so of course Aunt Courtney gives them a piece. Next thing I know the CHOCOLATE cake is on the ground outside so that they could "feed" the ants because they get hungry too apparently. Good thing their parents are so patient. Ha Ha
