The sun is finally shining today & that makes me happy. There is nothing better than the warm sun on your face. Life has been busy & I've been behind on my blogging. I have so many pictures and stories but I don't want to bore anyone so I've added a few of my favorites.
In March, my nephew had a baseball tournament in St. George. The whole family packed up and headed south and boy did we have a blast. The weather was a bit crazy the first couple of days but it was finally warm enough to lay by the pool. My sis and I headed down on a Thursday with our Dad (hubby had to work). I forgot how much fun us girl's have with our Dad. We talked, laughed, made fun of each other (our favorite thing to do) & just had a great time.

What a great vacation we had! I loved spending time with the fam & getting a glimpse of sunshine. I hope it sticks around.
In the month of March I also got to celebrate this cute little girl's birthday. This is my best friends daughter and she is my favorite little princess. She's such a cheeser. Her Mom & I made her cake and cupcakes. What a night that was. We had fun doing it and I think Brooklynn enjoyed her birthday. I also took her and her Mom to Disney On Ice and we had so much fun.
Last but not least my little sis attended her Junior Prom. Although shopping for her dress was a pain in the butt {because she's a teenager} & then to find out she didn't even want to wear the dress we found her {because she's a teenager}.....she looked GORGEOUS {as always}! Unfortunately her over protective big sister always worries she is going to get stood up {it happens....TRUST ME!} Ha Ha Ha It drives her crazy and she always reminds me that she's not me and just because my high school boyfriend didn't ever pick me up for our junior prom that it's not going to happen to her. Thank goodness her date showed. I held my breath because he was a little flaky in the beginning but it turns out she had the best time at the dance and her date was awesome. YAY for happy memories!

Jake has had work the past few weeks & that has been so great. It definitely decreases my stress when I know he has a 40 hour work week. I sure hope the economy and construction picks back up in the near future. We have also celebrated Easter and my birthday and I will post those pictures a little later! I hope everyone is having a wonderful SPRING.
