Dad's Day Weekend

For Father's Day weekend we enjoyed a much needed weekend getaway. We were fortunate enough to spend the weekend with Jake's family for a family reunion and we also invited my Dad and his friends to tag along. We headed to none other than the {mini} sin city....Ok maybe Mesquite isn't sin city but we sure had a blast. Jake's Dad was excited to have the whole family in one place at one time. Jake's brother Tim flew their Oma {grandma} in from GERMANY & Jake's twin brother Jared came from Washington. Tim & Anny, Jake's brother and sister in law came from California and we all made the trek to Mesquite, Nevada where the weather was gorgeous and the sun was shining. Did I mention it was about {100 degrees}? During the day I played sun goddess & laid poolside for the whole day. Jake & his twin went sight seeing and bought some illegal fireworks while they were out. At night we had some family reunion dinners and games and then went out with my Dad and his girlfriend and their friends. Such a relaxing weekend.

Jake playing in the pool with the kiddos. Watching this was pure bliss for me. Jake had tons of fun and I think the kids had an even better time.

This is by far the saddest cry EVER. It looks like he's screaming but he's not. It was the most quiet whine I have ever heard. Poor thing. Of course Aunt Courtney had to take pics.

But dancing with me made him happy. Love this little man tons.
