2009 was a good year. It had it's moments but I really can't complain. I have a lot of great memories to remember & I have the pictures to prove it. I can't say 2009 was an easy year by all means. Jake works construction & as we all know the economy hit everybody hard this past year. I am just so thankful we have wonderful friends and family who are always around to help us out or just lift our spirits. I am very thankful for my job and the great people I work with. I've never had a job that I actually enjoy coming to or enjoy being around my co-workers. The people I work with keep me entertained and make me laugh. It's hard to pin point my favorite memories of 2009 but here are some that really stand out:
ringing in the New Year with our BEST friends.spending Valentines Day at home with Jake & cooking dinner together.my birthday party in Wendover.Zions National Park.game nights.girl's nights.concerts every weekend with my favorite people.4th of July celebration with the Frehner family.brother & sister in laws vacation to Utah.having Jake's Oma visit from Germany.listening to Jake's great hunting stories.camping.Yuba trip.laughing with our families.hanging out with my Dad.vacationing with my mom & sis.watching our nieces & nephews grow up.state fair with the McCune family.date nights with Jake.San Diego vacation with my sis.visiting grandma & grandpa every Friday.having our good friend Rod grace us with his presence in our home (he might never leave...ha ha).coffee with grandpa.watching my sis cheer & enjoy her high school dances.having Thanksgiving with my family & also Jake's family.getting to visit with my grandparents while they were here for the holidays.
I have hope that 2010 will be a better year. It started off extremely rough for Jake & I but the days keep getting easier & I think that a lot of good memories will be made this year. I look forward to birthdays, spending time with our families & friends, our best friends wedding, weekend vacations, lake trips, camping trips, laughing & smiling & enjoying every moment we have together.
HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!
