Life's Recent Events. Some Good, Some Bad, Some In Between....

April was EXCITING.

Ok, not all of April was exciting but for the most part I enjoyed the entire MONTH because it is MY birthday month.

I turned 26 years young this year and let me tell you....I feel my age these days. Not that 26 is old but I can't hang with my peeps like I use to. I still enjoy a good night out full of dancing and laughs with my girl's but the next day I feel like death. Just another sign that life is short.

My co-workers spoiled me tons. They decorated my office, made me amazing goodies and planned a luncheon all in my honor. I was shocked and felt so blessed to have them in my life.

My husband made my day. Dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, gift cards to my favorite stores & total ME time. I love him! 

We celebrated Easter in St. George with my family. I love Easter. It's by far my favorite holiday.

We sold our trailer. Super bummed about that. We need the money for our fertility treatments {whatever that may be} & so Jake sold the trailer. I have the best husband ever. He loves camping, hunting and 4-wheeling. We can always replace the trailer but it made me sad to see it go. We had lots of memories in that old thing. LOTS of memories. Good, bad, happy, sad....

I planted some flowers in our yard. I'm definitely not a gardener. Jake usually takes care of them because I forget but regardless, I made our yard beautiful and Jake keeps it beautiful.

Birthday party/hang out session at the Westerner. Love me some country dancing. My friends know how to make me happy!

Jacque {right} totally spoiled me for my birthday. She planned a whole night just for me. Coffee, pedicures, dinner and dancing. My friend Kelli {left} came along and Chelsey did too but Chelsey had to get home to baby boy so she didn't come dancing. I had the best time. It was so nice to have some girl chat and laugh the night away. I'm so lucky!

My Mom & I made these cute center pieces for my Grandma's for Easter. It was so fun & they turned out awesome.

I get to share my birthday with this amazing man above EVERY YEAR. I love my Grandpa and he sure loves his Corona's. He only drinks one on a special occasion and I'd say our birthday is a special occasion. I cherish every year we get to blow the birthday candles out together. He's amazing.
